Use AgentGrow from Your AI Assistant

Check approvals, your pipeline and prospects from Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity.

What It Does

The AgentGrow connector lets the AI assistant you already use read your AgentGrow account. Ask “what is waiting for my approval?” or “what happened with Acme?” in Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity and get the answer without opening the dashboard. If you allow it, you can also approve or reject your agent’s drafts from there.

The connector address is https://mcp.agentgrow.io/mcp. You can also copy it from the Connected apps page in your portal.

Who Can Use It

  • The account owner and active team members. Each person signs in with their own AgentGrow login and sees the same account.
  • Prospects and timelines come from your agent’s CRM, which comes with Growth and Enterprise.
  • On a free trial, the connector works until the trial ends.
  • Perplexity custom connectors need a paid Perplexity plan.

Add the Connector

Each assistant names its menus a little differently, and they change from time to time.

  • Claude.ai — Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Paste https://mcp.agentgrow.io/mcp, then click Connect.
  • ChatGPT — open chatgpt.com/plugins → Add → Add Custom MCP Server. Paste https://mcp.agentgrow.io/mcp. Once AgentGrow is listed in ChatGPT’s apps, you can add it from there instead.
  • Perplexity — Settings → Connectors, add a custom connector and paste https://mcp.agentgrow.io/mcp.

The assistant then opens AgentGrow’s sign-in page. Sign in with your password or an email code, as you do on agentgrow.io, and answer the consent screen.

What You Can Ask

Your assistant picks the right tool for your question. The six tools are:

  • get_summary — How your account is doing: approvals waiting, prospects by status, this week’s agent activity and whether your agent is live. Counts only. Try: “How is my AgentGrow agent doing this week?”
  • list_pending_approvals — The drafts waiting for your approval, newest first, each with a short preview. Try: “What is waiting for my approval?”
  • get_approval — One draft in full: its text, where it will be published and its status. Try: “Show me the full text of the LinkedIn post about pricing.”
  • list_prospects — The prospects in your pipeline with stage, status, score and last contact. Filter by stage or search by name or company. No email bodies or contact details. Try: “Who is in my pipeline at the proposal stage?”
  • get_prospect_timeline — What happened with one prospect, newest first, as one subject or outcome line per event. Never full emails. Try: “What happened with Acme?”
  • respond_to_approval — Approves a draft, or rejects it with a note telling your agent what to change. Only with the approve permission, and your assistant asks you first. Try: “Reject the blog post about onboarding and ask for a shorter intro.”

What It Cannot Do

  • Send emails, publish posts or message prospects. Your agent publishes an approved draft on its own next run, as it does when you approve in the dashboard.
  • Change leads, stages or anything else in your CRM.
  • Edit a draft, or undo an approval or rejection once given.
  • See any other AgentGrow account.
  • Approve or reject anything without the approve permission.

Security

  • You sign in on AgentGrow’s own page. Your assistant never sees your password.
  • Your assistant gets an access token that lasts 1 hour and a refresh token that lasts 30 days. Each refresh starts a new 30 days, so a connector you use keeps working.
  • Every new connection sends an email naming the app and its permissions. When a team member connects, the account owner gets one too.
  • See and revoke every connection at any time on Connected apps. The owner sees all of them; a team member sees their own. A revoked connection stops working on its next call.
  • Removing a team member ends their connections.
  • Each account can make 120 tool calls an hour, across all its connections.

Your Data

Only the tool results your assistant asks for leave AgentGrow, and they go only to the assistant you chose to connect. That provider handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.

For each tool call, AgentGrow logs the tool name, your masked email, the connecting app’s id and whether the call worked. It never logs what was asked or what was returned. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

  • The sign-in keeps looping — open agentgrow.io in the same browser, sign in there, then connect again.
  • “trial expired” — your free trial has ended. The account owner can choose a plan on the Subscription page; the connector works again straight away.
  • “This connection may only read” — you did not tick the approve permission. Disconnect AgentGrow in your assistant, connect again and tick “Approve or reject drafts”.
  • 401 or “unauthorized” after you revoked a connection — that is expected. Disconnect AgentGrow in your assistant and connect again if you want it back.
  • Removed the connector in your assistant, but it still shows on Connected apps — some assistants (Claude, for one) delete their own copy without telling AgentGrow. Click Revoke on Connected apps to end it on our side too.
  • “Rate limit reached” — your account used its 120 calls this hour. The message says when to try again.
